Winkworth have provided a faultless service from valuation through to the sale of our property. I met a number of different estate agents; Winkworth stood out 'from the pack' therefore listing the property with them was an easy decision. Adrian Philpott carried out the valuation. He had excellent knowledge of the building and immediate location, which he substantiated with relevant historical data, removing the need for a 'sales pitch' (which I appreciated!). Put simply, Adrian had done his homework and it showed, which inspired confidence. Although the valuation from Winkworth was 'mid-range' of the five that I obtained, it felt the most realistic, and I felt Adrian was personally committed to selling the property. I also valued the commitment that the same people would be carrying out the viewings so they would have detailed knowledge to offer to potential buyers. The team at Winkworth have been highly responsive and easy to engage with. They understood the service that I was looking for, and delivered. Adrian Philpott was quite simply exceptional. We were selling my late mother’s flat from the other side of the world, and what should have been a reasonably straightforward transaction became an extraordinarily long and difficult process, largely because of the glacial pace at which the executors progressed matters. Through no fault of Adrian’s, the sale repeatedly became bogged down and at risk. Throughout it all, Adrian remained calm, candid, responsive and relentlessly practical. He did far more than simply market the property. He kept the buyers engaged when they had every reason to lose patience, chased solicitors and managing agents, anticipated problems before they became crises, coordinated access, surveyors and contractors, and helped us navigate some very difficult negotiations towards the end. Adrian always told us the truth, even when it was not what we wanted to hear, but did so with warmth, good humour and genuine empathy. Working from Australia, I often felt rather powerless. Adrian was the one person on the ground who consistently kept his head, kept communicating and kept the sale alive. At several points he was genuinely a bit of a lifesaver. I am enormously grateful to him and would recommend him without hesitation.

Katerina managed the property I rented for five and a half years and was consistently professional throughout. She always responded promptly and handled any issues without unnecessary delays. Every maintenance matter I raised was resolved efficiently — including more complex cases where quotes for works had to be obtained and coordinated, which she managed smoothly and without any hassle on my part. Katerina also acted as a great mediator between me and the landlord, handling sensitive situations with care and fairness. My overall experience was very positive and I would not hesitate to recommend her.
