The Social Shepherd

Was interested in exploring working with them for my ecomm business, so filled out the form on their website (to which they actively drive users via the main CTAs on the site). No reply. Tried emailing a week later. No reply. Figured: maybe the form didn’t work and my email went into spam (highly unlikely but benefit of the doubt and all). So sent a DM. Surprise: no reply. I can understand if they’re at capacity or didn’t see an immediate fit. But to actively collect leads and then not bother to so much as send a quick reply is indicative of a shocking lack of regard for basic manners. Reading through the reviews here, it seems this is a pattern, too. Mind boggling business behavior.

Time wasters. I had a meeting with The Social Shepherd, only to receive an email afterwards saying they could not take things any further due to the category and industry we sell in. The frustrating part is they already knew what category we sell in before the meeting, so this should have been dealt with before wasting my time. Our business name and what we sell make it very clear what industry we are in. The meeting itself also did not give me much confidence, as the person holding it did not really explain properly what they do or how they could help. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of time. I would not recommend booking a meeting with them unless they have confirmed upfront that your business category is suitable for them.
