Finally feel it is appropriate to speak on this. As a former "Avenue Appretnice" at Social Chain. In March of 2020, us apprentices attended our online lessons on the Friday, for no one to show. This proceeded for at least 3 weeks, which we then took the message that the course will no longer be proceeding. Myself and my employers emailed and called your company, and heard nothing in return for months. Speaking on behalf of myself and the other apprentices, as individuals who were so excited for the opportunity to train at your company and looking forward to finally gain an apprenticeship within the industry we’d always wanted to work in, this was extremely disheartening. Especially as Stevens message was "the education system is broken" hence the apprenticeship. I know this probably hasn’t much to do with those at the company now and more so employers at the time, but I would like appreciate some answers. I've been ignored for years, so a public review is my only chance. May you please explain why we never received an apology or explanation as to why we got “ghosted” by your company? Luckily I was employed by an employer who kept me on as a junior/trainee, but I know many of my fellow apprentices were left unemployed due to this. Additionally, I just want to ensure this isn’t taken in a negative way towards current employers.
