I think they know but to put it simply, they live up to the stereotype of what people think of estate agents. There to get you in and get your money, then live you hanging. Chestertons was instructed by our landlord to complete a check in process part of which should have been to check the property is actually ready to move into. Unfortunately the cleaners they recommended left the flat filthy after what they claim was countless hours of cleaning (pictures speak for themselves) and the boiler wasn’t working. As the cleaners Chestertons recommended refused to refund and as it was their recommendation and failure to check their recommended cleaner carried out the services I think it’s only fair pictures are out here, considering the cleaning company exists nowhere on the internet (I wonder why!).
We bought our apartment through Chestertons, and we couldn't be happier with the service Anna provided throughout the process. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and always quick to reply, guiding us through every step of our first home purchase. She also arranged multiple viewings before we moved in, which was incredibly helpful in helping us prepare. We really appreciated all her support and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy/sell a property in Canary Wharf!
